My long term research interests are centered around two basic cornerstones: security and mobile systems.

- Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks
- Secure Vehicle Communication (EU IST project SeVeCom)
- Landesforschungsschwerpunkt Sensor-based situation estimation and adaptive human-automotive interaction in multi-vehicle scenarios
- Ubiquitous Computing

My diploma thesis was about implementing a high-performance webserver for nCUBE massivly parallel supercomputers.
My doctoral thesis was on Security for Ad hoc Networks.
